Mail Your Coins

Follow these 4 easy steps to receive the most for your gold, silver, platinum, and numismatic coins by mail:

1. Visit our what we buy page , call, or e-mail us at before sending in your items.  You can obtain up to date prices for your coins on our rates page, on the phone, or via e-mail.  All rates and quotes are contingent upon our review and approval of your coins.  Considering the volatility of the precious metals market, we can only lock in our prices through the end of the next business day.  Shipment dates will be confirmed by reviewing the postmark date on the package.
2. Complete our shipping FORM online (PDF). If additional room is needed, feel free to include additional sheets of paper with details of your order.
3. A copy of the completed shipping form should be placed in a box with your properly secured coins.  Coins can be shipped in 2×2 holders, coin tubes, slab holders, acrylic cases, or in any other container that prevents the items from shifting during shipping.  We suggest using boxes that are no larger than necessary, and adding shipping materials, such as bubble wrap and shipping peanuts to further secure your items.
4. We recommend shipping your package via any of the offerings that are available through the US Postal Service, including, but not limited to First Class, Priority, Express or Registered Mail.* Insurance (for the estimated cost of your coins) and tracking should be added so that you can confirm that your coins have arrived safely. We are not responsible for items mailed without insurance or tracking.  Please let us know when your package is on its way so that there will be no delays in processing your order.

We will let you know once your coins have arrived, and will document the entire process, including taking photographs of your coins, which we can e-mail to you upon request.  Once the coins have been evaluated by our coin experts to confirm that they meet our minimum standards, we’ll contact you to confirm our offer.  You’ll have the choice to accept or reject our offer with no obligation or pressure to sell your coins.

  • If you accept our offer, we’ll issue a check the following business day for the amount of our offer and will reimburse you for your shipping expenses  (up to $20).  Receive free shipping!
  • If our offer falls short of your expectations, we’ll repackage your coins and ship them back to you at our expense via insured USPS first class mail with tracking. **
  • There is absolutely no risk to you – you have nothing to lose and only cash (via a company check) to gain!
*At this time, we’re unable to accept packages from private overnight delivery services, such as FedEx and UPS, as they don’t ship to P.O. Boxes.  We hope to be able to add a physical mailing address as an option in the future.
**We can only agree to incur the shipping costs to return your coins if they’re identified on our What We Buy or Our Rates pages.
