How It Works

Mailcoins.com, the premier online buyer of U.S. and foreign gold, silver, platinum, and numismatic coins pays you more for your valuables.  Learn more about what we buy.

Once you’ve visited our what we buy page and have confirmed that we’re interested in buying your coins, bullion, bars, or rounds, the next step is to visit our rates page to obtain current up-to-date prices on your valuables. *

If you’re unable to identify a price for your specific item, or if you have a low mintage or key date coin that may sell for a premium, you can call us or e-mail us to obtain a preliminary quote, subject to our review and inspection.

Once you feel comfortable that you’ve identified all of your coins, including their respective values, you can download a mail-in form here, which can be completed online.** If you don’t have enough room on the form to provide a complete inventory of your collection, feel free to identify the remaining coins on another sheet of paper, which can be mailed in with the original form.

At this point, you should be ready to mail your coins to Mailcoins.com.  Please visit the Mail Your Coins page on our website for instructions as to how to properly package your coins and which mail services to use.  Just follow our four easy steps and you’ll be well on your way to receiving hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in no time at all!

We also see customers in person, by appointment only, at our executive suites in Northeast Atlanta, so if you’re local to the metro Atlanta area or would like to drive or fly in from out of town for an in person appraisal of your coins, contact us today to schedule an appointment.

*Mailcoins.com is one of the few online coin dealers to post their prices online.  We have chosen to do so primarily because of our outstanding rates and our commitment to total transparency.

**If you don’t have the time or the expertise to identify your coins – no problem!  We’re more than happy to do so for you.
